CURICULLUM VITAE

ABOUT

Born in 1982 in New York city, I studied Fine Arts and Japanese Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, and then moved to Kyoto, Japan where I studied traditional crafts for two years. In 2007 I moved to London to pursue a Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art. After graduating in 2009 I co-founded Bare Conductive Ltd.
A designer interested in research and design futures, I'm inspired by cultural anthropology, and the biological world, seeking to blur the boundaries between technology and the handmade. My main interest lies in merging technology, science, and design through cross-disciplinary research. I strive to understand human behavior and its relationship to the ever-changing physical world, and to use my skills in conjunction with tomorrow’s technologies to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
