The sense of taste is one of the most powerful memory triggers. It allows us to conjure up memories from the past, reminding us of people, places, and events long since experienced. This project takes us on a voyage to the future, and the possibilities created by technologies that will allow us to capture the taste of food via micro-sensors embedded in our utensils. This, combined with advanced food printing technologies, will allow individuals to record the tastes of particular places and events, and have them printed as small treats to be shared with friends or savored as palatable memories.
